I am thinking that the terms scissoring and tribadism are being used interchangeably. I read the article referenced, and think the writer has done so as well.

Oh, for goodness sake. This is nothing new. I've seen it, first hand and on video dating back decades. Haven't seen it with a double-headed dildo because most are too long to be comfortable in such a position.

Have to disagree with you, too, on the "most double-headed dildos are shaped like the letter U" statement. Don't know where you are shopping (Fatale's own search function gets only two hits, neither with a picture) but Google comes up with plenty of examples. Other than the FeelDoe, most double-headed dildos are straight.
