Indeed the evidence shows Proposition 8 does nothing more than enshrine in the California constitution the notion that opposite sex couples are superior to same sex couples.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>(Special thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gomag.com\/\">Go Magazine <\/a>for pointing out this salient quote.)<\/p>\n<p>This ruling is <strong>worth cheering about<\/strong>. Even if those who oppose gay marriage want to take this to the Supreme Court, so be it. For now <strong>we have victory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We hope <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/2010\/08\/04\/2010-08-04_federal_judge_vaughn_walker_overturns_californias_prop_8_in_win_for_samesex_marr.html\">New York <\/a>follows suit.
