We received an interesting letter from a Fatale fan who asked, \u201cDo you have DVDs that feature sex between gender-queers <\/strong>and\/or butch women and queeny men?\u201d<\/p>\n

Gender queer<\/em> is an interesting term that applies to transfolk, transmen, transwomen, queers, gender-benders<\/strong>, FTMs, MTFs and those who just plain don\u2019t feel wedded to one gender. The appellation is usually self-determined and liberating.<\/p>\n

We like gender queer movies <\/a>and images because they\u2019re a reflection of who we really are as a diverse, dynamic culture. Gender queer is descriptive without pinning you down to one \u201cthing\u201d or another. We can all be who we are without sacrificing a cultural or group identity.<\/p>\n

When we first saw Barbara DeGenevieve\u2019s video footage of the queers in Chicago when she was filming Full Load<\/a>, we were blown away. Here were real dykes, real transfolk, real FTMs who weren\u2019t afraid to bare it all. That takes guts.<\/p>\n

Then along came Carolyn, who had worked with Barbara in Chicago and was striking out on her own with Turn Me Up Over and On<\/a>, an amateur short with a sweet encounter between a femme and her boi.<\/p>\n

Shine Louise Houston doesn\u2019t hesitate to play with gender in the Crash Pad<\/a>, the Crash Pad Series Volume 1<\/a> and especially in Wild Kingdom<\/a>, one of our favorite porn flicks with a hot trans scene between Wil and Papi .<\/p>\n
