With all due respect to those who identify as pansexual, the notion that a person who can experience sexual attraction to transmen and/or transwomen and/or intersex people as well as cisgender/bio men and women isn’t bisexual is nonsense. The notion that bisexuality can be rigidly defined in line with the binary concepts of heteronormativeness is nonsense. I’ve yet to encounter a pansexual identified person who understands what the word bisexuality really means. I’ve yet to encounter a pansexual identified person who convinced me they were not bisexual – except for one woman who was clearly a lesbian because she said she had never had sex with a man and would never consider doing so – any man (including a transman presumably) – and yet she claimed to be pansexual.
