Q&A: Ask Fanny – What is Squirting?

G-spot expert Deborah Sundahl, a.k.a. Fanny Fatale, answers your questions about female ejaculation and the g-spot.

Dear Fanny,

I see a lot of videos with women “squirting.” Is that female ejaculation? What’s the difference in terms?

Dear Nancy,

Yes, squirting is female ejaculation. The term squirting comes from the porn industry, and is their name for it. It is a show term.

I personally do not care for the word squirting outside the porn industry, meaning in our bedrooms, because it does not convey the full experience, and seems a bit adolescent, and therefore limiting, in its description.

Female ejaculation—the thing—is inherently feminine, clear and odorless to all but the most discerning noses. To those intimately familiar with their female ejaculate, it can have a very fresh and uplifting fragrance, perhaps best described as an “essence.”

Female ejaculation—the expression—conveys a woman deeply in touch with herself and her sexuality, and her ability to feel sexual love, connection and excitement with her partner.

Yes, a woman can squirt. She can also gush, flood and flow like a fountain.

I have seen videos of this so called “squirting”. It all seems enormously fake. A woman rubs her pussy for less than 30 seconds and then liquid squirts out of her as if from a water cannon. How in the world does this happen? Do they rig her up somehow? Do they make her have a pussy enema and then she holds it in until it’s time to squirt on camera? I really want to know.

It is real to squirt what they do is start filming once she has climaxed 2 wand to squirt they edit just like everyone else but it take about 30 mins

    Dear Taonga,

Please take or ask your woman to see a doctor. A smelly, oozy discharge from the vagina is very likely an infection, and it should be taken care of right away. The doctor will tell you what exactly it is, so if you want to know, you should go with her and hear the doctor’s explanation. Best, Fanny
