One of our favorite holidays of the year—how couldn’t it be?—is Valentine’s Day.
Do we need an excuse to celebrate romance? Maybe. The holiday puts us in mind of courtly love. The rules of courtly love were many. Here’s one of our favorites:
Love can deny nothing to love
This year we’ll enjoy a dinner out together. Select a bottle of good wine, eat some yummy food (and dessert!), go home and enjoy the rest of the evening just the two of us.
Valentine’s Day, riding on the heels of Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday, will still be our favorite.
