Q&A: Ask Fanny – What is Squirting?

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

G-spot expert Deborah Sundahl, a.k.a. Fanny Fatale, answers your questions about female ejaculation and the g-spot.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dear Fanny,

I see a lot of videos with women “squirting.” Is that female ejaculation? What’s the difference in terms?

Nancy, USA

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dear Nancy,

Yes, squirting is female ejaculation. The term squirting comes from the porn industry, and is their name for it. It is a show term.

I personally do not care for the word squirting outside the porn industry, meaning in our bedrooms, because it does not convey the full experience, and seems a bit adolescent, and therefore limiting, in its description.

Female ejaculation—the thing—is inherently feminine, clear and odorless to all but the most discerning noses. To those intimately familiar with their female ejaculate, it can have a very fresh and uplifting fragrance, perhaps best described as an “essence.”

Female ejaculation—the expression—conveys a woman deeply in touch with herself and her sexuality, and her ability to feel sexual love, connection and excitement with her partner.

Yes, a woman can squirt. She can also gush, flood and flow like a fountain.

Scissoring

Monday, October 1st, 2007

We’ve been in the business of lesbian sex movies for a long time, over 20 years, but this was a new one on us: scissoring. Supposedly a sex act where two lesbians interlink their legs to form two sets of “scissors” and rub their girl parts together, not only the term but the act itself is one we’ve never seen or done!

What gives? Is this some new position lesbians have suddenly “discovered”? Is it a term made up by some guys who haven’t really witnessed lesbian sex in the flesh or movies?

An article, “It’s Lesbian Sex 101 with Professor Tam,” first clued us in to this odd expression. And no, scissoring is not the same as tribadism, which is our experience is usually done face to face.

The idea of using a double-headed dildo in this scissors position crossed our minds, but women’s insides aren’t shaped like shotgun apartments. That’s why most double-headed dildos are shaped like the letter U.

Besides, what fun is sex if you can’t kiss each other, play with each other’s nipples and watch her face as she comes?

What do you think? You can comment here.

Q&A: Ask Fanny – FE Color

Monday, October 1st, 2007

G-spot expert Deborah Sundahl, a.k.a. Fanny Fatale, answers your questions about female ejaculation and the g-spot.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dear Fanny,

What color is female ejaculate?

Curious

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Dear Curious,

Female ejaculate is clear and odorless to all but the most discerning noses. To those intimately familiar with their female ejaculate, it can have a very fresh and uplifting fragrance, perhaps best described as an “essence.”

It appears that some women try too hard to ejaculate, and that could be the cause of occasional discoloration in their ejaculate, a cloudiness or pale hue. There is no need to worry when this occurs, just quit trying too hard!

Also, the temperature and amount of ejaculate changes with the menstrual cycle. During the time from ovulation to menstruation, female ejaculation is “hotter” and “saltier” if you taste it. Plus there tends to be more of it. It is during this time when traces of urine may show up. This only happens to some women, not all.

After menstruation and before ovulation, female ejaculate is “cooler,” clearer, and there is less of it.

Happy gushing!

Fanny

Forbidden Fruit

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

There’s a subtle difference between getting what you want and getting what you can’t have. Getting what you want, even a seemingly unattainable object of your desire, brings a frisson of excitement, a tingle to the belly. The chase is as delicious as the getting.

Fantasies play a strong role here. You can picture exactly what you want—the cutest girl in the room, a real female ejaculation, getting pegged or hard lesbian love like you’ve never had it in your life. So far.

What you can’t have, that’s another matter, forbidden fruit. If you’re obsessive about it, fantasies can also play a role. Like Deb Shooter in Special Delivery, you get out that vibrator and dream on and on, wishing you could be elsewhere, getting what you just can’t have right now.

Lusting after forbidden fruit seems impractical or silly to some people. But sometimes things change. Or you make them change. Hope blooms inside you. Carrying that torch, be it for weeks, years or decades, was worth it after all.

What do you think? You can tell us here.

Yours in good love and sex,

Nan & Christi

Sex Tips & Tricks: Flirting with Your Lover

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

We’ve written before about The Art of Flirting, but how do you flirt with your own sweetheart?

You might wonder, why bother flirting with your own lover? Isn’t flirting only for strangers?

No way! Flirting leads to dirty talk, which leads to steamy, passionate sex.

Plus, flirting with your sweetie—especially if you’ve been together a long time—shows her how much you love and respect her, you think she’s sexy and you want her more than anybody else.

Don’t vary your usual behavior too much at first. If you’re a gruff, “don’t bug me” type of person when you get home from work, suddenly acting the Casanova when you pop in the door will arouse her suspicions.

Instead, start simple. Get out of the house. Take her out for a drink or dinner. Make sure the place has a warm, romantic atmosphere. (more…)
