Sexy February

Saturday, February 18th, 2012

Was February ever this romantic and sexy? It feels like a thaw, some sort of easing of tension. Everything is relaxed suddenly. How did that happen?

We had a lovely Valentine’s Day – here’s our Valentine’s Day blog posting, short and sweet about how we celebrated.

Then we watched two new DVDs just in from France. Oooh-la-la. Nice. They’ll be available soon, and we’ll let you know as soon as they are. (Can’t wait? Here’s a French lesbian DVD to make you wet wet wet!)

We’re glad it’s a long weekend here in the U.S., to celebrate Presidents’ Day. We get to sleep in, relax some more, enjoy each other. Watch some more sexy movies!

Yours in good love and sex,

Nan & Christi

P.P.S. Thank you for liking Fatale Media on Facebook and following @FataleMedia on Twitter. It means a lot to us. We want to know what you think. So post away! What have you got to say?

Summer Sale – It’s Still On – No Minimums

Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

The lake in August 2011

Okay, this is a good deal, and we decided to offer a summer sale because it’s the dog days of summer here, hot and sticky or hot and dry, depending on where you live.

One of the best ways to escape is to retreat to an air-conditioned lair and make wild, beautiful love.

The past couple weeks have seen riots in London, escalated war in Afghanistan and Iraq, escalated violence in Syria. Here in the U.S. the Congress could hardly get itself to its summer vacation for inability to agree on matters of state and economy.

Yet we smile every time we get your notes and letters and know that despite everything there is love here, there is love in the world, and making love is one retreat into pure pleasure. Worthwhile pleasure, too.

On Sunday we walked along a path beside a beautiful lake, just the two of us, and it was like when we first fell in love. Both of us smiling, talking.

Here’s a picture of the lake from that walk on Sunday – we posted it on the Fatale Media Facebook page too, a good thing to like.

Frolicking

Monday, April 18th, 2011

Does springtime make you frisky as a colt, wanting to frolic and show off? Wanting to take off all your clothes just because it’s beautiful outside and besides, why not?

Winter blues are gone. There are a thousand sexy moves you want to make. You feel sexier than ever.

Hah! We’re happy just watching the birds trying to make a nest outside Christi’s office window, and admiring the spring flowers all in bloom.

Lots of gift orders are coming in to Fatale, and that makes us think of birthdays and anniversaries and all kinds of fun things.

Nan’s birthday is May 2nd, and already we’re plotting and planning a lovers’ getaway weekend. Hot springs, massages, a completely romantic two days.

Yours in good love and sex,

Nan & Christi

Getting Lucky

Thursday, March 17th, 2011

When we were kids—Irish-American-heritage kids growing up in Upstate New York and Minnesota, respectively, St. Patrick’s Day meant one thing: corned beef and cabbage for dinner.

Later, St. Paddy’s Day meant the parade in New York and drunken Irishmen…and tipsy dykes down in the Village who looked better and better as the night wore on. We got lucky!

Now we believe in making our own luck. It’s like magic, but more than that, it’s about trust and love and good food and drink, good friends and good storytelling.

Did I mention romance?

That too.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Yours in good love and sex,

Let’s Pretend to Be Lesbians

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Rather shocking ad, a double-page spread, in the latest Martha Stewart Living appears to advertise the Jones New York clothing line available at Macy’s. Huh?

Why are these two straight girls holding hands and looking as if they’ve just eaten forbidden fruit?

Here’s the picture (don’t choke):

Skirts and Strapons

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

An old friend and customer wrote to us lately asking for statistics on strapons.

He wants to know how many butches are out there really—he calls butches “manly women,” but he may well mean exactly that, straight women who wear a suit and tie. We don’t know of too many straight women who go in men’s clothes. Been a while since Marlene Dietrich did her thing.

He also wants to know how many older women are out trolling for younger men. And how many women who wear strapons like to stroke their strapons.

For all these questions, we have no answers, not being sociologists or even sexologists but rather pornographers.

Here’s our favorite question:
“Are skirts still popular, or are they going out of style? They seem old-fashioned to me. I would prefer to a woman in a pantsuit any day.”

For this we must ask a femme…or a drag queen. And the answer is resoundingly no! Skirts are not going out of style.

Hard Love and How to Fuck in High HeelsThe most popular butch/femme DVD we carry is Hard Love and How to Fuck in High Heels by the gorgeous femme Shar Rednour and her handsome lover Jackie Strano.

Anybody check out Fashion Week last month? “Calf-grazing skirts.”

Lady Gaga in her Muppet SkirtOf course, don’t tell Lady Gaga.

Or her Muppet skirt.

If you have answers or commentary, please let it all out! Click the Comments button here.

We want to know what you think, too.

Weekend Sex

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

The best kind. Long and lazy days. Slow sex that makes us smile.

It’s a three-day weekend here in the States; we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday.

We’ve also been watching the horror in Haiti from the earthquake earlier this week. We gave a donation to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres. All donations to them now go to their valuable work in Haiti.

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Haiti and the caregivers and rescue squads that have come from all over the world. We salute them.
