Since I turned 30 I’ve ejaculated a lot–maybe my previous girlfriends didn’t quite know how to reach my G-Spot–but sometimes it just doesn’t happen even when I masturbate. Is it possible female ejaculation is related to my cycle? When I can’t ejaculate it’s usually around my period.

Female ejaculation doesn’t always happen for various reasons. A menstrual cycle could be one reason, but usually female ejaculation is mostly plentiful around the time of a woman’s period. It could be you unconsciously hold back during your period due to too much fluid being released from your body.

Another is the physical position women are lying in. Notice what position you are in when you do and don’t ejaculate. Another reason could be the sex toy or fingers… notice if you ejaculate when they are out of your vagina and if you don’t ejaculate when they are in your vagina.

Female ejaculate flows most easily when there is no expectation.

Rarely does any woman ejaculate all the time. I suggest letting go of having to ejaculate. We don’t want to put any kind of performance pressure on something that is inherently—at its source—an expression of love and joy. Better to spend the time self-pleasuring as a chance to love yourself, and let nature take its course.

Yes, squirting is female ejaculation. The term squirting comes from the porn industry, and is their name for it. It is a show term.

I personally do not care for the word squirting outside the porn industry, meaning in our bedrooms, because it does not convey the full experience, and seems a bit adolescent, and therefore limiting, in its description.

Female ejaculation—the thing—is inherently feminine, clear and odorless to all but the most discerning noses. To those intimately familiar with their female ejaculate, it can have a very fresh and uplifting fragrance, perhaps best described as an “essence.”

Female ejaculate is clear and odorless to all but the most discerning noses. To those intimately familiar with their female ejaculate, it can have a very fresh and uplifting fragrance, perhaps best described as an “essence.”

It appears that some women try too hard to ejaculate, and that could be the cause of occasional discoloration in their ejaculate, a cloudiness or pale hue. There is no need to worry when this occurs, just quit trying too hard!

Also, the temperature and amount of ejaculate changes with the menstrual cycle. During the time from ovulation to menstruation, female ejaculation is “hotter” and “saltier” if you taste it. Plus there tends to be more of it. It is during this time when traces of urine may show up. This only happens to some women, not all.

After menstruation and before ovulation, female ejaculate is “cooler,” clearer, and there is less of it.

Many women cannot ejaculate profusely, i.e., arc outwards, spray all over, with something in her vagina. That means toys, fingers, penis—all have to come out of the vagina in order for many women to have that lovely fountainous explosion.

Also, if a woman’s vaginal muscles are weak or tense, it will be harder, if not impossible, to ejaculate. She needs to do her Kegel exercises. For a great device to use in strengthening these muscles, try the Kegelmaster. The Kegelmaster site has great information about vaginal muscles and exercises.

Lastly, I cannot emphasize enough that a woman has to want to go to the next level. She needs to take this into her own hands. Often, a woman’s partner wants her to do things she is not ready for, or not interested in.

Pressure and overeagerness by a male or female partner will backfire, causing a woman who is not ready to shut down rather than open up.

Better to tell her your desires. Find out if she wants to learn to do that for you, and then give her time and space to get to it on her own. It takes time for a woman to realize that spraying so much is okay, and time for her to realize it is natural and to adjust.

For one thing, get out of the bedroom! Water other parts of the house, preferably rooms with hardwood floors or tiles. Or go outdoors, like in the garden!
